I love oatmeal.
And if I'm having oatmeal, I'm realllly having it with some superfancy unnecessary exxxtras.
I mean, c'mon.
If it isn't expert, it's just a bowl of mush.
That's Scottish thick oats, prepared in coconut-almond milk, simmered with real maple syrup, a pinch of salt, a shake of cinnamon, a patty-pat of vegan butter, and a dash of vanilla.
When those fat rolled slabs are all soaked through, and creamy, rich, hearty hottness is filling a bowl......that's when you've gotta add the sprankles!
A scoople of coconut yogurt.
Toasted and glazed pepitas- with vanilla and maple syrup to coat 'em.
is that extra real maple syrup on top?
And the brown sugar is infused with cinnamon, and nutmeg, and ginger, just to make it especially awesome.
That's how you activate the full flavor and the potential of a beige bowl of cereal grains.
Everything is amazing if you approach it the right way.
That's all I'm really saying here.
